Coastline would like to wish Becky and Ian all happiness in their future life together

To our young dynamic Director, Becky Thorpe, who was married to Ian Middleton in Vancouver on Sunday 10th February 2008. The wedding service took place in the ultra modern Chapel at Stanley Park, and was followed by a reception at the unique Steamworks Brewery, Gastown. Becky’s Maid of Honour was Valerie Taylor. Both Becky and Valerie are members of our Regional Faculty and also members of ‘Twist!’ Quartet, and proud mum Jackie Mumford, is a past Regional Finance Co-ordinator.

Becky and Ian both share a love of skiing, especially in Vancouver, and this was where Ian romantically proposed to Becky at the top of the Observatory Tower in Vancouver at sunset on the 10th February 2006 (exactly 2 years to the date before the wedding). Before their wedding they enjoyed a week skiing in the mountains, fortunately not breaking any bones, and afterwards honeymooned on a cruise in the Caribbean. On their return home in March an evening reception took place at The Hilton Hotel, Fareham, and among the guests were members of Coastline who performed a surprise song to the happy couple.
